Who we are?
Digging Deeper Insights (DDI) is a UK-based education and knowledge company. We help students and curious minds understand their subjects properly, not just memorise them for an exam. From our study guides and courses to our tutoring and research, everything we make is built to make difficult ideas clear, useful and genuinely interesting.
Our Story
DDI was founded by Shehaan Mulla, an economist with a background spanning the Civil Service and IBM. It grew out of a simple frustration: too much of education teaches students to pass the paper and forget the subject a week later. We wanted to do the opposite, to help people truly understand what they learn and enjoy the process of getting there. That idea, digging deeper rather than skimming the surface, is where our name comes from and what still guides everything we do.
Our approach
We go beyond exam technique. We connect ideas to the real world, so students do not just learn the what, they understand the why. Our aim is for a student to finish with us able to think like an economist, a scientist or a professional, not simply to recall facts under pressure. Clear explanations, strong structure and genuine understanding: that is the DDI way.
