Marriage deserves more than a profile.
A curated matchmaking service informed by compatibility, psychology and the realities of finding a spouse.
The Marriage Market is preparing a personal matchmaking service that starts with understanding you: your values, expectations and plans for married life. Our team will consider these alongside another person’s priorities before suggesting an introduction, with clear reasons to meet and questions to explore.
Note:
Personal interviews. Reviewed proposals. Both people choose.
Registering interest is free. It does not enrol you in the service or commit you to a payment.
Why the service exists
Understand what a profile leaves unansweredA profile can tell you someone’s age, occupation and interests. You may still need to understand how they handle disagreement, what they expect from family life, where they want to live and how they approach money and responsibilities. The Marriage Market is being developed to help you explore these questions before deciding whether to meet. The aim is to give you clearer information and personal support as you consider an introduction.
Psychology, behaviour and practical circumstances
Consider the person and the life you could build togetherOur planned approach brings together personal expectations, behaviour and the practical realities of married life.
-
Psychology and expectations

What helps you feel respected and understood? What do you expect from a partner? We will explore how you see yourself, make decisions and respond to pressure through a conversation about your experiences.
-
Behaviour in everyday life

How do you handle disagreements, keep commitments and share responsibilities? We will ask for practical examples so that broad descriptions such as caring or family-oriented have a clearer meaning.
-
Money, time and responsibilities

Where could you live? How would work, finances, travel, children or caring for relatives affect your plans? We will consider the circumstances that shape whether an introduction is practical for both people.
-
Faith, values and family

What does your faith mean in daily life? Which values matter most to you, and how would you like family to be involved? You will define your own priorities and explain what they mean in practice. These conversations will help us prepare proposals. They will not produce a compatibility percentage or predict whether a marriage will succeed.
